Encrust

Encrusting is one of the highly sought after Epic skills of the Alchemy. By collecting various rare gems, the user can bind into other equipment items the power of these stones.
The stones themselves can sometimes be found in the corpses of the more fearsome and hard to kill creatures of Duris.
You will need to make sure that the equipment item and the stone you wish to use for the "encrust" are both in your inventory then type:
encrust item stone
For example if you have "a strange Green stone", and "a steel dagger", just make sure both are in your inventory then type:
encrust dagger stone
Warning: Encrusting an item, overwrites all existing procedures for that item.
This powerful ability is taught by the vagabond alcemisist in the Divine Home.
You cannot encrust an artifact.
NOTE: To learn this epic skill, one must first master the epic skill of Craft

Stone Abilities:
Every stone has certain magical properites it can add to a piece of equiment. The following is a list of magical stones and the abilities held within those stones.
a strange pink stone - slow_poison
a strange green stone - prot_gas & prot_acid
a strange blue stone - prot_cold
a strange yellow stone - prot_good
a strange red stone - prot_fire
a strange black stone - minor_globe
a strange sharp rubin - sense_life
a strange yellow and blue cross - det_magic
a strange dark bloodstone - haste
